“…if anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scriptures said, ‘from his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.” (1)

From the innermost being will flow rivers of living water, into a thirsty soul. As we come to the Word of God the Holy Spirit stirs into the deep intricacies of the soul filling the longings only He can fill. Come away with me and let’s read what this unknown author says about the chief principles in the Bible…where we find the greatest love ever found. May you absorb God’s solid truths;

“This Book contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass, the soldier’s sword, and the Christian’s character. Here paradise is restored; heaven opened and the gates of hell disclosed. Christ is its grand object, our good is it design, and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart, and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently, and prayerfully. It is given to you in life and will open in the judgment and will be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, will reward the greatest labor, and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents.” (2)

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. The Scriptures reaffirm Who He is, Eternal God the Author and Finisher of our faith. God who called you will establish your faith from beginning to end. If you love the Lord, Jesus, than He loves you too much to leave you as you are. He is unconditionally committed to your well-being. Seeking, calling and drawing you closer. Ask, seek, and knock and He will reveal Himself to you.

In this timeless moment God is calling you to find freedom. The liberty perhaps you’ve been waiting for…for a long, long time. Let’s make a holy resolution today by falling in love with the Lord. Lord Jesus, thank You for writing Your law into my heart. Lord I seek You with my whole heart, and feel confident of Your blessings found in truth. I live to keep Your word, open my eyes that I may behold wonderful things from Your precepts and I will walk therein.  Amen
